Why is it worth using a complete thermal insulation system?

Thanks to the use of Fasrock Max boards with a very good thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0,037 W / mK (for boards with a thickness above 100 mm), ECOROCK MAX provides the best insulation of external walls of buildings

Thanks to this, a very high thermal resistance R = d / λ of the partition is obtained, effectively reducing heat loss.

Excessive heat losses usually appear at the points of thermal bridges, such as discontinuities of the insulation layer on lintels or rims or joints between small-sized elements of walls (especially single-layer, e.g.. from hollow bricks, blocks, e.t.c.). A fairly frequent case of thermal bridges is too much mortar in the joints between these elements. In single-layer walls, such a situation can work (and it usually does) freezing of the wall. A continuous insulation layer in the ECOROCK MAX system installed from the outside eliminates the possibility of this type of thermal bridges in two-layer walls. Fasrock Max panels arranged on the wall in a staggered manner and carefully adjusted to each other, thanks to excellent thermal parameters, they effectively protect the load-bearing wall layer against freezing and additional frost, costly heat losses. In this way, it always works at a positive temperature, and insulated with a board of appropriate thickness (recommended min. 15 cm) the wall provides significant savings in heating costs.

Using Fasrock Max insulation, the user gets better thermal comfort of external walls and the entire building, than in the case of using the same insulation thickness with the most common value of the coefficient λ = 0,040 – 0,042 W/(mK).

In many cases to meet the thermal requirements (heat transfer coefficient through partitions Uk ≤ Uk(max)) for exterior walls, a smaller thickness of insulation in the ECOROCK MAX system is enough – this is due to the lower value of the thermal conductivity λ of Fasrock Max panels.
