INSULATING EXTERNAL WALLS

The type of external walls of the buildings determines whether the residents will feel comfortable in them. Thermal and humidity comfort taken together make up the so-called. indoor microclimate, which may or may not be beneficial to residents, and this, in turn, can affect their health and well-being. The operating costs of buildings depend on the type of insulation and its thickness, and more specifically heating bills, paid regularly by residents. So it's worth knowing what and how to insulate buildings, so that their heating costs are the lowest. It is more and more important these days, because energy prices keep rising.

ECOROCK MAX for building occupants.
Building users want to live comfortably, healthy and safe, at the lowest possible operating costs. What does it mean? Inside the buildings, they do not want to feel the negative influence of the external environment – low temperatures and their fluctuations, winds, insolation, noise. They want to have a healthy indoor microclimate, and an increased sense of security in the event of a fire. All this at the design stage and selection of solutions for the building under construction or renovation, it is possible to recommend the use of external wall insulation with the ECOROCK MAX System.

The ECOROCK MAX system is a complete so-called. seamless external wall thermal insulation system, so far referred to as the light wet method. It consists of:

• ZK-Ecorock adhesive mortar for fixing insulation boards to the substrate,
• Fasrock Max façade panels with a hardened top layer. These plates
• two structurally connected layers, are manufactured according to a patented technology only by Rockwool. The specially hardened top layer is more durable, it is harder and more compact. As a result, it is a very stable base for reinforcing mortar and plastering, mounted on thermal insulation boards. The remaining part of the board, adhering directly to the substrate, could thus be slightly lighter and more flexible at the same time. This arrangement of two layers in the Fasrock Max panels provides better thermal insulation with less load and better adhesion to the insulated surface..
• fasteners depending on the type of substrate: hammered – WB-Ecorock or screwed – World Cup Ecorock, for fixing Fasrock Max boards to the ground, 8 ZZ-Ecorock reinforcing mortar and SZ-Ecorock reinforcing mesh, necessary to obtain a firm and firm base for mineral plaster,
• PT-Ecorock plaster base,
• plasters – BR-Ecorock (Saiyan) or DR-Ecorock (scratched) – non-flammable and vapor-permeable mineral liquids in any three grain sizes 1,5, 2,0, 3,0 mm,

Facade paints in various colors are available as additional elements.
