Painting rules

Walls and ceilings of internal rooms in the building can be painted with brushes, generally flat, large width or bench, with fur rollers, as well as spraying - currently the most common electromagnetic spray guns.
In any case, it is necessary to first mark the lines separating the individual colors within the walls, or the color of the ceiling, generally painted with white paint, and walls, usually given a color; however, this is not necessarily the case. Also within one wall, individual surfaces can be painted with different colors.
We can place the line between the white color of the ceiling and the color on the walls in various ways. When choosing, we take into account, first of all, the height of the room.
If it's typical, 2,5-2,7 m., and the walls have no facets (rounded corner transitions between the wall and the ceiling), the border line is placed exactly in the upper corner. If the walls are low and have facets, this optical elevation of the room can be obtained by marking the demarcation line directly on the ceiling at a distance 10-20 cm from the corner. In the high room, we can finally mark the demarcation line on the wall at a distance 15-20 cm from the top corner. This optically lowers the height of the interior.
We can use a water level to define the demarcation lines (also known as the water hose or the German washer-weight). With its help, we mark points at the same height in all corners. We can also do it with a measuring cup, measuring the same distance from the ceiling.
Then we draw the horizontal lines of the color demarcation on the individual walls. Most often, however, this is done only after painting the ceiling, because some paints cover well, with which we paint the ceiling, they may obscure the previously marked line.
In any case, it is worth using a chalk rope with a metal container to mark the line. Pour chalk or colored powder into the container, e.g. loose pigment. The cord, after slipping out of it, is sprinkled with powder. Two people capture him, they put them on the points marked in the corners and tighten them strongly. Then one of them pulls the string a little and lets go. It returns to its initial position under the influence of the spring force, hits the wall and makes a straight line on it. We'll cut off along it (about which below) wall and ceiling colors.
A plumb line must be used to define any vertical demarcation lines. According to him, we set any number of points, and then with a pencil we draw a vertical line along the applied straight wooden batten, approx 2 m.
