System of sliding doors made of profiles and rails

Installed in no time – door system made of profiles and rails.

The door system of the cabinets we present consists of door frames and guide rails fixed to the floor and ceiling.
The kit also includes the necessary wheels, fasteners and fasteners. Profiles and rails are made of aluminum and can have a matt silver or glossy white or black surface. There are also floor and ceiling rails for sale, reaching even lengths 3,6 m. If the wardrobe front is to be longer, the rails can be joined together.
The standard height of the door corresponds to the height of the room 2,75 m, however, shortening them is not a problem. The weight of the door rests on the lower casters, the skids engage in the upper rails, being only guiding elements and bearing no load. This allows the rails to be attached to light construction ceilings and to suspended ceilings, and eliminates the transfer of noise accompanying the sliding of the wardrobe door to the empty space under the ceiling..
The lower guide rail is bolted to the floor. If we want to protect a wooden floor or floor covering, the rail can also be fixed with double-sided adhesive tape. Before gluing the floor rail, insert the tongues into it. They inhibit the movement of the door when closing and hold it in place. Attach the ceiling rail to the wardrobe body or, as in our case, directly to the ceiling. Before that, we embed pegs in it.
Gluing is enough.
To avoid cutting holes in expensive floor coverings, rails can be fixed with double-sided carpet fixing tape.

Standard or made to measure?
When buying a sliding door, we have two options. You can buy standard elements and extend them yourself according to specific conditions or order them (for an extra charge) cutting and drilling the appropriate elements to size. It will save us a lot of work; however, it requires precise measurement and preparation of an appropriate drawing.
